Migraine Mini - Heavy Lifting
Let’s face it: my meds have to do some heavy lifting. The most successful migraine treatments work for 33% of patients who try them; that’s a lot of trial and re-trial to find the right combination of treatments. That’s a big burden for one little pill to carry. Or two. I take two meds. I guess for how expensive they are, they better be able to do the trick!

This series is as much about the issues of drug prices as it is about my life with migraine disease. My maintenance medication has a sticker price of $1200 per month. Why do they cost so much? I assume they are made of gold… so I crafted these little golden pills. So each of 30 completed works of art costs as much as one day of my migraine meds: $40
