Fat Bottom Blooms
"Fat Bottom Blooms," 5×5 mixed media (because there is collage hiding under all that paint!) on canvas.
The Story: Turquoise is a color I associate with my Grammy. I started using it in my art a LOT after she passed. She was also an avid gardener. The first time I ever painted flowers was because I missed her one day.
💙
The Process: these flowers are absolutely ridiculous. I cannot overstate how much I overworked them nor how huge they are. I don't care. This is the best vase I have ever painted, and I am happy. This is some serious Miracle-Gro action happening.
Because this painting has been sitting in the studio since 2020*, it is listed at a reduced price compared to newer work. All rights reserved by the artist.
* Update: This piece is on sale at prices for the year it was painted! The list price reflects 2022 price scheme; the sale price reflects the prices I followed in 2020.

We make every attempt to represent colors as accurately as possible, but be aware that differences among screens and paint pigments may result in variations. Please read our Shipping and Return Policy before purchasing.
