Something's Tasty in the State of Denmark

This small diptych isn't from the Ophelia (2023) body of work, but it does have the same colors. These pieces were part of a study set I made for a commission. I am listing them with my Ophelia paintings due to the content of the collage paper, and my irreverent sense of humor regarding the bard. The collage paper I selected is a nod to my friend who commissioned the work that resulted from these studies, who worked at a breakfast bistro. I utilized breakfast recipes and and pages of philosophy from Kierkegaard. He's Danish. Get it, a Danish for breakfast? (It's okay to groan at my puns, I certainly do!)

Incidentally Hamlet is also Danish, and tasty (especially when played by David Tennant), so here we have it: Something Tasty in the State of Denmark.

"Something's Tasty in the State of Denmark" is a diptych, consisting of two 4x4-inch mixed media paintings, with vinage paper, alcohol ink, acrylic marker, and metallic accents. It should be displayed out of direct light to protect the alcohol-based pigments from fading..

We make every attempt to represent colors as accurately as possible, but be aware that differences among screens and paint pigments may result in variations. Please read our Shipping and Return Policy before purchasing.

I am interested in purchasing an archival art print (reproduction) of this piece.
