Migraine Mini - Three Day Weekend
Who doesn’t love a three-day weekend?! In my former career, every weekend was a three-day weekend, but we fit five days of work into the four-day workweek. I spent every Friday sleeping and recovering. Sometimes even that wasn’t enough! Regular weekends often turned into sick weekends; a migraine weekend isn’t restful or relaxing. It’s just surviving.

This series is as much about the issues of drug prices as it is about my life with migraine disease. My maintenance medication has a sticker price of $1200 per month. Why do they cost so much? I assume they are made of gold… so I crafted these little golden pills. So each of 30 completed works of art costs as much as one day of my migraine meds: $40
