imprints and lines of code

$150.00

When I first started getting migraine attacks, I started making references to Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation. Every morning, when I woke up, I performed a “systems check” and let my partner know if “all systems are operating within expected parameters.” The idea of my brain glitching out, miscommunicating with itself and with my body kept in the front of my mind that the brain really is just an electrified meatball, and sometimes the power goes out, or the data gets corrupted.

“imprints and lines of code” is part of THE FAILURE EXPERIMENT. It is a 5×7-inch mixed media on canvas. It is finished with UV archival spray-on varnish and sold unframed. This gallery-wrapped (“deep-dish”) canvas can be displayed on a shelf or on a wall.

We make every attempt to represent colors as accurately as possible, but be aware that differences among screens and paint pigments may result in variations. Please read our Shipping and Return Policy before purchasing.
