Something from the Garden (set of 4 collages)
When I moved back to North Dakota in 2021, I didn't have a studio for several months. I made collages on the coffee table in the living room, sitting on the floor, with whatever bits my mom let me scavenge from around the house. These four collages contain tissue paper from a clothing purchase, mulberry paper and fabric from my mom, and little prompt cards from a teaching deck. They represent the messy liminal space between my teaching and art careers, cobbled together on the living room floor, as I reconnected with my roots.
Fun fact: I started using turquoise in my artwork after my grammy passed away in 2019.
"Something from the Garden" is a set of four, 5x7 collages. They are sold as a set. They would look lovely framed in shadow boxes, or with a mat and frame where the elements have a small gap between the artwork and the glass.
We make every attempt to represent colors as accurately as possible, but be aware that differences among screens and paint pigments may result in variations. Please read our Shipping and Return Policy before purchasing.
