That Damp Dog Aroma
Spring is creeping closer, and we just had our first day with temps in the 50s. Winkie loves playing outdoors, so the house has taken on the aroma of wet dog. I’m busily preparing two bodies of work to be released simultaneously, because nothing says spring fever quite like spending all day in my studio. Ha!
During the first week of April, I’m thrilled to be releasing 37 small works for my 37th birthday. They are painted in my favorite color — BLUE!— and they will be available on a Pay What You May basis. I will accept $5, $50, $37.63… just pay what you may, and the painting is yours.
My series of work inspired by The Berenstain Bears will be released during the same time frame. Six 20 x 20 works on canvas, two 8 x 8 works on canvas, and eight 6 x 6 works on paper (16 works total!), all making up a bears and bubblegum-fueled fever dream of Xennial nostalgia. I am so. very. excited. to lift the curtain on these finished works.
